New York Fashion Week day 2.

Read my reviews, discover what I think, I know you need something to read: easy and fast ’cause you’re a busy girl.

Let’s start!

Jason Wu: too much romanticism and femininity to handle. Wool and flowers embroideries.  Show you shoulders!

Zimmermann: pirate-vibe, 2000s atmosphere, lots of ruffles. Interesting details but this is not for me.

Gigi Hadid x Tommy Hilfiger: was so ordinary. Yes, there are interesting jackets and coats but it looks like “hmm, I’ve already seen it”. Steal some pieces from Tommy’s archive, add some “cool girls” and you’ll create this not-so-original collection. And those socks: horrible. Sorry.

Tadashi Shoji: I know I’m a “difficult” person. I have difficulty finding lacy pieces to love but Tadashi seemed to know me. I’m literally craving those lace+feathers dresses: sugary-porno-chic.

The only show I truly liked was MONSE: it started with super cool office vibe, stopped for a brunch, drank a cocktail and in the end went to a party. The duo proved the only thing you need in your wardrobe is a blouse. Then add pinstripes, chiffon and sequins. Charming and powerful with the right dose of femininity. Did you see all those pointy shoes? Need them.

Need to be honest, I’m not afraid to share my point of view: I did not like the second day of New York Fashion Week. I can understand that “romanticism” is appreciated but this is too much for me. It doesn’t reflects my aesthetics. Plus, I’m a 90s child, I don’t know hot to manage all those 2000s references: to me that decade means the worst looks I’ve ever worn and craved.
