ON AIR: Everybody Wants To Rule The World – Tears For Fears

Hi girls, how are you? Did you read yesterday’s man post about fragrances? Inspired by Gianluca’s latest article and being in the middle of my tomboy saga I created this look. I called it “If I were a boy: marinière edition”. If last week I was all about a more rock attitude with my vintage Versus Versace jacket and right before I was strolling around with my Armani blazer, this one I’m all about that Jean Paul Gaultier vibe. Jean Paul Gaultier is one of my fave French designers, I love how he plays with the tomboy figure and how he melts feminine and masculine together.

Anyway, Gianluca and I took a break and went to the lake for a good ice-cream. Best gelato in Desenzano (a cute town on Lake Garda)? Vivaldi. My latest choices? Macadamia and cinnamon, Calabrian licorice and mixed berries! You know you’re a real Italian if you always want a gelato, even it’s freezing outside.

Anyway, let’s talk about this look.

My #ootd was clearly inspired by water and boys. I decided to wear something very comfy for a very relaxing afternoon with my boy. I chose my wool pants (yes, they are the same pants I was wearing in the whowhatwer.uk post!) to keep me warm. Knotted a vintage belt because you know I love a good high waist (you can follow my obsessions on Instagram: I’m @cherryfranci). Then I added an old striped crop sweater I found in a drawer of my closet. Long sleeves (ps: they’re a SS17 must have): blue and white, there is something more marinière than this? Straight and clean for a boyish look but cropped because I’m a girl. Shoes? My beloved black Converse. To keep me warm I opted for a very relaxed trench I bought last year for a ridiculous price at Zara sales. No jewels except for my beloved Roz Buehrlen stackable rings and pearls.

Makeup? Boyish look means wearing less makeup as you can. I’ve only played with some pinky accents with a multi-purpose product that I’m testing for the blog, so stay tuned for some newness in our BEAUTY section!

Make sure to follow us on Facebook, we’ve just opened our official page. We would be so grateful if you could support us! And I’ve also just started to share contents on Twitter, I’m @cherryfranci, as always!

If I were a boy I would dress like this, and you? Do you like this look? Would you wear a boyish outfit? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
