It’s taking place in London the usual appointment with fall-winter men’s fashion.
I made a small selection of 10 brands and here is what I like and don’t like of this LONDON COLLECTIONS MEN 2016. Let’s start with the first 5!

Agi & Sam

The British duo shows a comfortable and practical collection, highly versatile. Excellent fabrics, mostly Italians. Color blocking is a thing for sweaters with very long sleeves and pockets everywhere for coats. Boxy jackets and military-inspired colors.

WHAT I LIKE

Overcoats with classic colors, comfortable-but-not-too-much pants: the right compromise.

WHAT I DON’T LIKE

Sweaters with sleeves too much long. Coats are interesting but the overdose of pockets makes them not so attractive.

Alexander McQueen

The collection is in the pursuit of prints and embroideries. There are jackets and coats with butterflies and three pieces inspired by the circus. A total look made up of a suit, a shirt and shoes in a B/W floral theme. Coats and double-breasted jackets with velvet inserts. Black and white with a touch of silver.

WHAT I LIKE

Coats and overcoats are so chic and modern. I like the butterfly-theme embroidery (although very similar to Valentino) and velvet inserts.

WHAT I DON’T LIKE

The collection is totally interesting but the red circus jacket is not wearable.

Astrid Andersen

The Danish designer offers for the FW a line that develops the concept of hip-hop. It’s a perfect line for cold locations with gloves till the elbow and fur trim. The gold lace as a light on the black background, is interesting and not exaggerated. The printed logo returns on hooded sweatshirts and sweaters.

WHAT I LIKE

The total look in red hits the centre, sweaters and slacks don’t intensify the typical oversized-hip hop-style. Beautiful colors: shades of gray, turquoise, black and red. Golden lace used as a flash of light.

WHAT I DON’T LIKE

Total denim looks are too heavy. Rejected: golden lace swather with sweatshirt cuffs and turquoise sweater with short sleeves.

Coach 1941

The house of leather goods shows not only jackets, bomber jackets and leather shoes, but also total looks for disparate occasions. Excellent, as always, the quality of the leather and the funny sweaters with dinosaurs and space shuttle.

WHAT I LIKE

In a word: (almost) everything!

WHAT I DO NOT LIKE

The sweater with buttons. The red check pattern is so ordinary.

Christopher Raeburn

Interesting collection for the British designer Christopher Raeburn, who concentrates on a sophisticated street wear. From geometric shapes motif to animal kingdom prints .

WHAT I LIKE

Coat and jacket with geometric pattern and beautiful sweaters with leopards.

WHAT I DO NOT LIKE

Yeah, coat and jacket with fringes are wearable but remind, too much is always too much.
