ON AIR: Right Now – Anakelly

When it comes to my beauty routine, there’s still a taboo. I’m not an early-bird. Why? I follow a “strict” routine at the end of the day but not when I wake up. I know, it’s my fault. But, lately, things have changed, now I start the day with Leahlani Skincare!

Leahlani Skincare is a mix of organic botanicals and clays, delicious tropical fruits and pure organic Hawaiian nectars blended on the lush North Shore of Kauai. Ok girls, don’t you feel the need to go on holiday?

Ready to fly with me to Hawaii? Discover my morning favorites. Let’s go!

1st step: Citrus+Citrine Regenerating Toner

What is it?

A regenerating toning mist formulated for mature and oily skin.

How to use it?

Shake and mist skin before applying any product.

Final verdict:

At the moment I’m obsessed with toners. This is the second one I try and I definitely like it. This toner contains pure Hawaiian spring water infused with organic aloe. It has regenerating and skin brightening  properties, thanks to essential oils such as neroli, orange and mandarin. It also contains sugar cane and sugar maple to promote a smoother complexion by increasing skin cell renewal. Each bottle comes with  a Citrine gemstone and if you’re into gemology you should know that Citrine emits a strong vibration of joy, prosperity, energy and abundance. They say to use it once/twice a day but I mist more often, why? The formula is super light, it doesn’t makes your skin feel “heavy” and.. I need to confess you that some days I only use it because it has a really good hydrating power. It brightens the skin and minimizes the appearance of fine lines. When I work I make sure to have it by my side, because I can’t using it!

2nd step: Aloha Ambrosia Morning Moisture Elixir

What is it?

A light-weight morning elixir formulated to hydrate and nourish the skin.

How to use it?

Shake and gently press a few drops into face/neck/decollete.

Final verdict:

This morning elixir does what it says: hydrate and nourish your skin all day long. The formula is very gentle on the skin and when I use it my skin stays perfectly moisturized. It doesn’t make my skin greasy but a very thin layer lays on my face and doesn’t fully dry. It leaves a very nice glow and I can’t wait to use it this summer when I’ll, hopefully, tan. The scent is one of my fave aspect: Jasmine helps to restore the skin by reducing dryness and minimizing breakouts due its antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

Did you already know this lovely brand? Have you ever tried these two? Any tips? Other products I need to try?

Special thanks to Leahlani and Lauren!
